The Make Ready is Dandelion Theatre's on-going reading series that gives playwrights a chance to hear their work read out loud in front of an audience. Every piece is cast the night of and given a cold read!

Sofia thinks her roommate's recently clogged toilet is a borderline hate-crime, but her boyfriend Mark sees it as a learning opportunity. The Plunge is a comedy that explores shit that's really hard to clean up.

Hear work from local playwrights, get to know some fantastic acting talent, and then hear from directors working in Chicago with our Directors Panel!

Be a reader! Actors of all ages, genders, and ethnicities needed. No audition necessary! Just arrive at 6:30pm and say that you'd like to be a reader.
